Use an external voltage input (0–5 V) or an external resistor (0–5 kΩ or 0–10 kΩ) to remotely adjust the voltage and current settings.

On the external control settings screen, if Output On is set to High, applying a high level to the Pin 1 (EXT-ON) terminal turns the power supply output ON; applying a low level turns the output OFF.
Conversely, if Output On is set to Low, the logic is reversed.

On the external control settings screen, Inhibit can be set to High or Low.
If set to High, applying a high level between the Pin 7 (INHIBIT) and Pin 9 (DGND) terminals turns the power supply output OFF.
Conversely, if set to Low, the logic is reversed.

This function is multiplexed onto Pin 7. Set external control to Disable, and set Inhibit to High.
On the Inhibit Output screen, select Global. Then configure the voltage and current parameters and enable the output on the main screen (or on another function screen).
Conversely, if Inhibit is set to Low:

Enter this screen and click Enable. This function lets you configure two sets of voltage and current parameters (A and B) and switch the output using the ON/OFF key.
Apply a high or low level to Pin 13 on the external control terminal board to switch between parameter set A and parameter set B. The voltage and current setting parameters change simultaneously.
By default, a low level selects parameter set A, and a high level selects parameter set B.
